Medical Insurance
All salaried exempt and non-exempt personnel have the choice to participate in the Aetna or Kaiser Permanente Medical HMOs. The amount of your contribution per month is based on your annual compensation level. We also have a Buy-Up option should you want to participate in a PPO through Aetna.
Dental Insurance
Your choice of coverage through a basic PPO with Delta Dental USA or an upgraded Dental PPO Plus. Basic coverage offers a $1,000.00/yr. per individual benefit versus a $2,000.00/yr benefit for the upgraded Plus Plan.
Vision Care Plan
This plan, through EyeMed, is like a Vision PPO and is optional. The cost is dependent on the type of coverage you select.
Life Insurance
This coverage is at our expense and it will be in an amount equal to twice your annual base salary.
Supplemental Life Insurance
You will have the option of purchasing up to an additional four times (4X) your base salary of additional life insurance at group rates, should the amount provided by the company be insufficient to your needs.
Dependent Life Insurance
You will also have the option of purchasing life insurance for your spouse and eligible dependents at group rates. Guaranteed issue is for $50,000.00 for the spouse but you may go as high as $100,000.00. Dependent children may be insured up to $25,000.00 each. This is optional and the rate is the same regardless of number of children.
Short Term Disability
This is a benefit that works in coordination with our California State Disability Insurance (or that of your residence state’s program) and is designed to provide you with your full salary for a specified period of time, based on your service with the company. After the term for full salary is consumed, the benefit is then reduced to 60% of your base salary for a combined total maximum period of six months. Should you continue to be medically unable to perform your job then long term disability is available.
Long Term Disability
This benefit is a coordinated benefit with SDI which takes effect after your Stat Disability Insurance has been exhausted or after six months, whichever is longer. It guarantees the employee 60% of their base salary at the time the disability is incurred until such time as the employee returns to work or, on the employee’s 65th birthday, whichever occurs first.
Optional Supplemental LTD
This option increases the benefit level of the company paid LTD by an additional 6 2/3% for a maximum combined benefit of 66 2/3% of pay during your extended disability.
Vacation
Monogram Aerospace Fasteners provides vacation benefits to its eligible salaried non-exempt and salaried exempt employees to be used as time away from work for rest and relaxation. The Company encourages employees to utilize these vacation periods on a regular basis. Vacation accruals depend on the length of service; however, new employees accrue 6.67 hours per month during the first year of service.
Holidays
We observe and compensate our employees for 12 holidays and an additional floater, usually your birthday.
Pension Plan
Upon completion of one year of service, you will be eligible to participate in the TriMas Exempt and Non-Exempt Employees Pension Program. This program provides for a quarterly contribution to your 401k account, indexed based on your age for the quarter being funded. In addition, the program has a performance based feature that can increase the level of this benefit. In order to receive a benefit credited to your account, you must participate in the 401k Plan.
401k Plan
You may participate in this long term savings plan at the rate of 1-75% of your total earnings, to the maximum current legal annual contribution as designated by the federal government. The company will match a percentage based on the level of your savings.
Employee Assistance Program
This benefit offers cost free consultations to employees and their direct families with trained professionals to help guide you through stressful issues in life such as periods of Marital, Financial, Credit Management, Legal, Adolescence or other problems.
Educational Assistance
To assist and encourage the continuous growth of all employees through reimbursement for job-related or degree oriented educational expenses such as tuition, registration and books at approved institutions of higher learning.
